August 29, 2003
John, . . .you dirty
rotten bastard (that means you too Minnow!)
I, Mike Tollefson,
founder of the Patrick's Softball team, master of the behind-the-back,
left-handed triple combination bank shot, purveyer of knowledge, returned
to Patrick's On Third this day, the 29th of August, 2003, to relive past
glories in the place that I have devoted a decade of my life to faithfully
and proudly represent. Upon my arrival, I was appaulled to discover that
the "hardware," the tophies, the emblems of supremacy that my
teams have strove so hard to achieve, were not to be found. Where once
they had been proudly displayed . . . they have now been relegated to
being hid on the floor behind the bar. Have our past glories been forgotten?
Was the sweat, the blood, the tears, the shots, the pain all for naught?
Please restore the glory, and legacy of Patrick's On Third and once again
proudly display our well-earned trophies in a place of prominence in this
fine establishment in which we all have a significant financial, and emotional
investment in.
Respectfully,
Mike Tollefson
Founder, Patrick's On Third Softball
